Regardless of your research experience, Search & Genealogy Services offers one-on-one training and guidance.  We'll teach you to post your family history on the internet to share with others.  We can direct you to well-known genealogy databases and will guide you through the process of submitting your work to share with others for generations to come.

Obituary Lookups - Access to the largest archive of Southern Illinois newspapers and the Chicago newspapers at Morris Library on the campus of Southern Illinois University.

Many resources are available in the immediate vicinity, including the Illinois Regional Archives Depository (IRAD) which holds many early county records of Southern Illinois; Morris Library has an extensive archive of newspapers, the Germans to America volumes, and many other genealogical materials; the LDS Family History Center; the Jackson County Historical Society library; Brehm Library; and the library of the Southern Illinois Genealogical Society.

Would you like to submit your family file to the Pedigree Resources File database of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?  Their database contains nearly twenty million pedigrees that are preserved for generations to come, and we can guide you through the process or submit the information for you.
